Flame Chandelier, which was created as part of my bachelor’s thesis, is an alternative lighting made of optical fibers.
It explores and discovers the possibilities of this technology not only in lighting design.
The basic building block of my work was the research, which showed me the directions that can be taken with this technology, including the less fortunate approaches.
I attributed this new technology to the function of lighting in the form of a blazing flame as a comeback of the original form of light. Optical fibers carry the information of the projected video recording and at the same time become a new distinctive form of the lighting design together with cut glass components and a movable metal structure.
Innovative fiber technology is a symbol of independence, communication and mobility, the same aspects that current progress seeks.
